Cally legal
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Cally processes, why we process it, and the choices available to customers and users of our AI voice-agent platform.
Effective date: 6 September 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Cally website, applications, voice-agent services, and related support. A customer may separately act as the controller of contact, lead, call, and campaign data it uploads or collects through the platform.
2. Information we collect
We collect account and profile details such as your name, business email, industry, expected monthly call volume, selected automation use case, and authentication information.
When you use the platform, we may process configuration data, uploaded knowledge, contacts, campaign activity, phone and integration settings, support communications, device information, diagnostic logs, and usage data.
Where enabled by the customer and permitted by applicable law, call data may include phone numbers, recordings, transcripts, summaries, sentiment, qualification details, and call outcomes.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure Cally, authenticate users, operate voice agents and campaigns, process integrations, improve service reliability, provide support, prevent misuse, communicate service updates, and meet legal obligations.
4. Voice calls, recordings, and AI
Cally uses automated systems to generate or analyze conversations. Customers are responsible for configuring lawful notices, consent flows, calling hours, opt-outs, and recording disclosures for the locations and recipients involved. AI-generated transcripts, summaries, and extracted outcomes may contain errors and should be reviewed before consequential use.
5. How information is shared
We may share information with vetted hosting, authentication, communications, telephony, AI, analytics, payment, and support providers only as needed to operate the service. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights and safety, during a corporate transaction, or at a customer's direction through an enabled integration.
6. International processing
Cally and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate contractual and organizational safeguards for international transfers.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, satisfy contractual and legal requirements, resolve disputes, and protect the platform. Retention may vary by data type and customer configuration. Customers may request account deletion, subject to required retention and backup cycles.
8. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encryption where appropriate, monitoring, and least-privilege practices. No system can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal information, or object to certain processing. You can also withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. Requests may be submitted through our Contact Us section.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
We may use necessary cookies for authentication, security, preferences, and session continuity, plus limited analytics technologies used to understand and improve platform performance.
11. Children
Cally is a business service and is not directed to children. Users must have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in their jurisdiction.
12. Updates and contact
We may update this policy as the platform or applicable requirements change. Material changes will be communicated through the service or other appropriate channels. For privacy questions or requests, contact us through the Cally website.
